Toilet Paper Roll Seed Starters

Yes, that is correct. Toilet paper roll seed starters. When I first decided that I was going to be a gardener, I briefly looked online for "easy gardening" videos and something I came across was the idea of making your own seed starting trays. Since then I have found many videos with really fancy equipment and grow lights and stuff and honestly I don't have the time or money for that kind of shenanigans. Even when I was at Bau und Hobby the other week, they had piles of different kinds of plastic trays but even though it's not technically single-use plastic, I didn't feel great about buying that either - especially because who knows if I'll use any of this again.

So, instead, I started to save up toilet paper rolls for weeks and weeks. And today I cut them down and made little flaps in the bottom so they're like actual little cups!! They're very cute and I really hope they work, but even if they don't, I didn't have to (directly) pay for them, and they're biodegradable.
