Got the Dirt

Just a short one this week. A few weeks ago, I talked about going to Bau und Hobby to get some seeds. (Also, side note, turns out Bau und Hobby has been bought by Jumbo, but I will always think of it as Bau und Hobby, I don't think I can change that in my brain). Anyway, I got seeds and had the intention of getting dirt, but they only had huge bags and I didn't do enough research so I just grabbed my seeds and ran away before anyone at the store could see that I didn't know what I was doing.

But this time, I went back to B und H specifically to get dirt. Now, did I look on the website beforehand and see what the German translations were for the types of dirt I was looking for? Yes. Did I bring that information with me to the store? Absolutely not. I ended up getting dirt in the smallest possible bag I could find - 2.5 L - because I am very weak and didn't want to carry a big bag home. Also it was super cheap and I didn't want the extra dirt to go to waste.

But while I was there, I wandered through the garden section properly this time and I will tell you now, I wanted to buy everything. I love house plants (even if I can't keep them alive very well) and there were so many there that I wanted to buy. They even had a section specifically for cat-friendly plants. Maybe in a few weeks I will go back and allow myself one new houseplant (and maybe one new one for my classroom too).

The point is, I now have seeds and dirt and I am ready to go. (I also got a new brush to properly clean my balcony).
